zestimate were the same since the time I bought the property?

Should I make changes on description based on the upgrades made in the house - do you think the "zestimate range" will change?

Either way, I always recommend to consult with a Realtor. Never base your home value off of a computer generated system!

Make the changes, but don't rely on the Zestimate to value your property.  The Zestimate is a good guide, but no agent is going to use it when discussing value with their buyer's.  Comparable sales over the last 90-days is the most common way to value a home.  If you are looking to market your home for sale contact a few agents and get them to give you a CMA-Comparative Market Analysis.  You'll have a good idea of what your home will sell for in the current marketplace.

You can make changes in the description if you have updated. Some things seem to effect the Zesitmate more than others like square footage, bad/bath count etc. Adding a different kind of roof or a hot tub to your home facts may not add anything, but updating your page to include your new bedroom usually does.

The change in your home facts is immediate on the page, but any changes you make take time to show up in the larger numbers if they are going to. I think I read it takes 6-8 weeks to have them show up in the larger Zestimate number.
