I check my credit scores from Equifax, Experian and Transunion and all the scores are above 700 and credit report is correct ( no errors) but when I check fico score, it's a difference of 100 points. I contact fico but they say its based on 3 bureaus and what they're reporting. Why such a big difference in points ? What do lenders look at when applying for mortgage? Do they look at fico score or credit score based on any bureaus they pick? Just want to make sure I'm on the right track. In the end I want to use that money to pay off debt, improvements, and most importantly invest in other properties. So I do not want a cash out that doesn't allow me to walk away with cash in hand. From the research I've done, I believe it is very rare to find this type of loan from a lender and especially with that amount in NYC.
My questions are:
1) How likely am I to find a lender that will refinance a loan of that size 100% with cash in hand in NYC? Do they even exist?
2) If they do exist, what else should I be aware of?
3) What to be wary of with those lenders (whether they exist or not) that says their company offers that type of loan with 100% refinancing and cash in hand?

Any help would be great.
Thanks!

Jordan

15 replies Thu, 18 Dec 2014 21:05:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-I-refinance-a-conventional-loan-to-100-cash-in-hand-not-cash-out-VA-loan/569913/ 2014-12-18T21:05:00Z Looking for a jumbo mortgage that accepts 10% down http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Looking-for-a-jumbo-mortgage-that-accepts-10-down/549502/ Hi,

I'm looking to buy my first apartment in NYC, but recently got a rude awakening because it seems major lenders categorically avoid jumbo mortgages with anything less than 20% down.

I've got a great annual income and great credit score, and I'd love to pull the trigger now on a $1M-$1.5M apt at 10% down.

If anyone has a lead on a lender, I'd really appreciate it!

5 replies Sun, 13 Jul 2014 14:00:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Looking-for-a-jumbo-mortgage-that-accepts-10-down/549502/ 2014-07-13T14:00:00Z Where can I find/see list of rental apartments in Bay Ridge Brooklyn ny 1 bedroom http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Where-can-I-find-see-list-of-rental-apartments-in-Bay-Ridge-Brooklyn-ny-1-bedroom/569802/ 1 bedroom rental apartment in Bay Ridge brooklyn ny..near mass transit

1 reply Wed, 17 Dec 2014 11:54:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Where-can-I-find-see-list-of-rental-apartments-in-Bay-Ridge-Brooklyn-ny-1-bedroom/569802/ 2014-12-17T11:54:00Z selling an owner built home....TAX http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/selling-an-owner-built-home-TAX/502059/
built a house using equity loan living in it for 2 years selling it

is the amount to build the home taxable (equity loan)

3 replies Mon, 15 Jul 2013 22:50:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/selling-an-owner-built-home-TAX/502059/ 2013-07-15T22:50:00Z Listing agent not responsive http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Listing-agent-not-responsive/517696/ I called a listing agent about a property but she never picked up and I could only leave a message.
