Paid 7% instead and much headache http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/caught-in-a-trap-with-a-990-commission-agent-Paid-7-instead-and-much-headache/507285/ My situation is quite complex and long so I don't want to take anyone's time if they atre not interested. But I feel&nbsp;the agent took advantage of my situation and did not comply with his contract and I caught him in many lies. I don't know who to turn to as I have no money now to hire a lawyer and it seems the realtors stick together as does the real estate commission. <br/>&nbsp;Please message me if you would like to know&nbsp;what happened. I am not trying to&nbsp;create problems but I deserve a answer and this agent needs to change his contract or his advertising, either one. &nbsp;Where can I turn? Thanks in advance....&nbsp;<br \><br \>17 replies Sat, 17 Aug 2013 04:48:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/caught-in-a-trap-with-a-990-commission-agent-Paid-7-instead-and-much-headache/507285/ 2013-08-17T04:48:00Z Home Buying/Credit score http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Home-Buying-Credit-score/477307/ I just started the process of looking into buying a home. I was curious as to what my credit score was so ran a report and found that I had a "no pay" on my credit report. It dropped my score down to a 606! I called the collection company and asked some questions and to pay it off. The said it would take 90 days for it to leave my credit report so it could be up to 90 days before my score goes to at least 640. He told me that they would send me a letter and that the lender could do a rapid rescore....Anybody have any info on this? Is this true? Should I just pay the collection and see what happens?<br \><br \>4 replies Tue, 05 Feb 2013 01:22:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Home-Buying-Credit-score/477307/ 2013-02-05T01:22:00Z search ranch http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/search-ranch/472119/ I want to filter and search only for Ranches?<br \><br \>4 replies Tue, 25 Dec 2012 17:40:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/search-ranch/472119/ 2012-12-25T17:40:00Z Opportunities in Spain http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Opportunities-in-Spain/496697/ <div><em>[promotion deleted by Zillow&nbsp; moderator. Unknown people are taking our photos from websites and reposting the home as a rental. I have seen some of the emails where the scammer has an email address appearing to be the seller - sellername23@email.com for example.&nbsp;<br/><br/><div>If you are looking to rent PLEASE be careful, especially at this time of year when we are getting tax returns and excited to get a new home. If the deal is too good to be true, it probably is. Here is an example of an email from scammer to potential tenant "we need a responsible individual/family that is neat to take care of our house as if it were theirs. Our home is still active as for sale house, but we had a change of mind recently in renting it out ourselves because of the bad experience we had from our Agent." OR "We will be willing to rent our house to any person/family that is willing to assure us of taking absolute care of our home, at least making sure that our home is kept neat and always pay their rent on time especially now that we are not around."<br/><br/><div>If you are unsure, search the address and see if it is listed for sale, call the listing agent and ask if it is available for rent. You will be surprised how legitimate some of these scams might seem. Good luck with your home search!!<br/><br/><div>Unfortunately I cannot help you find a rental, but if you are looking to purchase a home on contract or regular mortgage, please give me a call - I would love to help.<br/><br/><div>Nigel Chapman<div>Broker Associate<div>RE/MAX Real Estate Concepts<div>Des Moines Metro, Iowa.<div><em>[contact information deleted by Zillow moderator.
