We've been talking to a few lenders for a regular FHA streamline to take advantage of a lower interest rate MIP rate. My questions is if we would be able to refinance with a 203k streamline to do minor upgrades and still take advantage of lower rates. Any and all advice is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

3 replies Wed, 29 Jul 2015 22:12:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-I-refinance-from-FHA-loan-to-a-203k-streamline/597817/ 2015-07-29T22:12:00Z Any second chance mortgage products available? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Any-second-chance-mortgage-products-available/597835/ Hello,
Do you know of any 80-10-10 mortgages (with no PMI) that a homebuyer with the following characteristics can qualify for?

Purchase price: $930-$950K (for a primary residence)
Down payment: 10%
Annual W-2 salary: $210K (plus an additional $2,000/mo child support)
Total Monthly Debt: $3000 (includes a mortgage on a rental property)
Total additional monthly income from rental property: $2200/month
Credit Issues: (1) Ch. 7 bankruptcy discharged in spring of 2010 and (2) FICO score between 680 and 695

0 replies Thu, 30 Jul 2015 00:22:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Any-second-chance-mortgage-products-available/597835/ 2015-07-30T00:22:00Z Bank that will grant home equity loan on investment property? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Bank-that-will-grant-home-equity-loan-on-investment-property/429201/ Anyone know of a lender who will do a home equity loan or HELOC using an investment property as collateral?

I've ran into some resistance to this at the small banks I prefer to use, so curious if anyone has had success.

21 replies Wed, 18 Jan 2012 18:23:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Bank-that-will-grant-home-equity-loan-on-investment-property/429201/ 2012-01-18T18:23:00Z How can I find a FREE local listing of rent to own homes? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/How-can-I-find-a-FREE-local-listing-of-rent-to-own-homes/491643/ 300 replies Fri, 10 May 2013 14:39:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/How-can-I-find-a-FREE-local-listing-of-rent-to-own-homes/491643/ 2013-05-10T14:39:00Z Is it possible to buy a home when income is only SSDI? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Is-it-possible-to-buy-a-home-when-income-is-only-SSDI/597827/ 1 reply Wed, 29 Jul 2015 23:27:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Is-it-possible-to-buy-a-home-when-income-is-only-SSDI/597827/ 2015-07-29T23:27:00Z MLS MY HOME.COM http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/MLS-MY-HOME-COM/460924/ Did anyone use the MLS website called 'MLSmyhome.com' to list on MLS site? thanks

21 replies Fri, 21 Sep 2012 22:32:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/MLS-MY-HOME-COM/460924/ 2012-09-21T22:32:00Z Train noise disclosure http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Train-noise-disclosure/597823/ Hi. I recently sold a house in Boulder. Buyer is demanding money or to rescind the sale based on that I did not disclose "train noise". There is a crossing less than a mile from the house. I never thought to disclose it, and there doesn't seem to be a good place to do so on the MLS form in any event. The trains can be heard throughout Boulder. There's also the muni airport out behind the house, across a smallish lake; not that he seems to object to that.

Clearly the idea of rescinding the sale is laughable. What is a bummer is spending money on lawyers. His price has been going up from the initial emails to the demand letter from his atty.

Other than lawyer up, any advice? Only advice I've gotten so far is that the train is "open and notorious" and that subjectively one persons loud is another's lullaby. I certain had no intent to hide any of this, and I suspect his motives are more than "mitigation".

1 reply Wed, 29 Jul 2015 22:50:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Train-noise-disclosure/597823/ 2015-07-29T22:50:00Z Is there a way to narrow search results based on the school rating and distance? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Is-there-a-way-to-narrow-search-results-based-on-the-school-rating-and-distance/597770/ As above: I would love to be able to narrow search results based on assigned schools (E/M/H) ratings and distance.
