Our house @ 2462 Silver Sage dr, Las Cruces, NM, you value @ 224,759. Identical home @ 2544 Tuscan Hills ln is valued at 271,635. and on a smaller lot with a noisy street behind it. This is hurting our chances of potential sales as clients keep telling us that. Ours is priced at 239,500 and theirs is @ 279,900. Will you please get the facts and values correct?

We are FSBO and our house is under contract, but I don't know how to figure out what exactly our net profit will be. Who can figure that out for us? Our lender for the new mortgage, the title company handling the current sale of our house? Thanks!

Partially Complete New Build

I am interested in purchasing a partially completed, new build, three unit building on Chicago's northwest side. The building is approximately 30-40% complete. I would like to purchase and complete the building and then rent out two of the units and live in the third.

What type of financing is available for this type of property? What type of interest rates are available?

Are there any tax benefits or shortfalls to building a property as opposed to purchasing a used property? Any other benefits aside from less upkeep and greater appeal?

How do I contact Bank Departments that handle foreclosures directly?

I'm helping my children find a home and there are many foreclosures in our market area, I can find the ones foreclosed and owned by the bank. I want to contact the Bank before they send the property to a realtor (which can takes months after the foreclosure sale)....but I cannot find information on the websites about how to contact them directly.

ALERT - Rental Scams on Zillow, Trulia, Hotpads, Postlets - SCAM WARNING

If you found this posting by using a search for a phone number, you are likely dealing with a scammer.

Scammers are using (323)620-8020 (SCAMMERS) to created dozens of rental listings all across the United States.

- They create these fraudlent (fake) rental listings on Postlets.com
- Photos are stolen from either homes that are currently for sale, or previously for sale, with photos of the entire that show the property as vacant.
- From there, the fake listing is placed on Postlets.com and it is syndicated to dozens of other rental websites. ( Zillow.com, Trulia.com, Hotpads.com and more )

- The rent is EXTREMELY CHEAP compared to similarly priced homes for the area. ( Too good to be true )

- You write or call them to inquire about the property.
- They reply with any number of reasons for not being in the city where the property is located ( out of town on business, out of the country on a Missionary trip, or some other God Fearing adventure )

- The ultimate goal is for YOU to sent the SCAMMER money for a Security deposit VIA Western Union, in exchange for them to commit to them leasing the property to you, and they will FED-EX you the keys.

The scammer using (323)620-8020 has ads all over the USA scamming people out of hard earned money. As soon as the scammer collects the money from Western Union, the money is GONE FOREVER, no chance to recover, ever. (never)

Do not give money to ANYONE that you can't see the whites of their eyes. You will see a lot of these scams, and that is because they work some of the time.

I would like to sell my house in St. Clair Shores, MI as soon as possible but I've been told that your refinancing application will not be approved if you have listed your house for sale in the the last 6 months. Is this true? Because if it doesn't sell relatively quickly (by the end of summer) I would like to refinance as I will have to move back into that house.

I am putting an offer in on a short sale but it is bank approved and can close before June 24th-what exactly does this mean? I know short sales can be scary but this one doesn't seem to have the same concerns-am I right? Also is it true I can pull out of it at any time after the offer is accepted or are there certain conditions? I'm wondering if I need to go back and check it out, since I didn't really do my own inspection( check water pressure, faucet leaks ect)-will I have time to do that later? Im so nervous!

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of some reputable companies to put my listing in MLS that won't hurt my selling process. I have seen a few online but their reviews haven't been the best (i.e. owners.com). I have also been told that when realtors see ISoldMyHouse.com they stay away from those listings, is this true? I am selling in Massachusetts. Thanks in advance for any help.

i short sale my property back in 2009 and it has 1st and second loan! The second loan remain open untill i settled last year 2012. My question is do i wait another 3yrs from the time i settled the second to be qualified for an FHA loan???

Good afternoon!!!! Here is my situation, I really hope someone has a good idea so that I can refinance at these great rates. * My appraisal on my house came back lower than what I owe. Therefore, I am unable to refinance through my bank, Chase. Of course found that out after the non|refundable fee * My loans are NOT Freddie, Fannie, FHA, or VA * Credit is excellent * I have never missed a loan payment * I own my own business, but I have passed the three year mark. This has become so frustrating. I tried to refinance shortly after losing my job and starting my own business and I was turned down. I just tried again after waiting the three years of having my own business. The finances are now fine but my LTV is too high from a renovation I had done 1.5 years ago. I am over 6% right now. Any option?????????? Thank you!!!!!!

IF YOU HAVE SEARCHED FOR AN EMAIL OR PHONE NUMBER - AND IT CAME UP IN YOUR SEARCH RESULTS - IT'S A SCAM!

Active Example:
- A new home was put on the market for sale, 5239 Malcolm St, Oceanside CA 92056

- Scammers from Nigeria created a Rental Listing in Postlets.com using ALL OF THE EXACT SAME PHOTOS from the new listing.

- The Postlets.com website http://www.postlets.com/rtpb/9124323 Will then take that new listing and send it to many other rental websites such as Trulia, Zillow, Hotpad.com and others.

- Scammers put their email address and a phone number in the REMARKS SECTION of the advertisement.

- You call or email the Scammers asking about the property that should rent for $2200 per month, that is offered for rent for only $1,300 per month. (HUGE RED FLAG)

- The phone number is an out of state phone number, and email is Hotmail or Yahoo. You're NOT DEALING WITH A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL REAL ESTATE AGENT.

- The Scammer has a story that they're out of the country, they will rent it to you (along with anyone who calls) if you wire transfer them a security deposit. Send over a security deposit, and the property is yours. ( The property will not be yours, but the money will be theirs. AND as soon as Western Union sends the money, it's gone for good )

- DO NOT LET TEXTING FOOL YOU - Services on the internet can create a number in the USA that ANYONE can text to and from with a USA Phone Number. You think they're in the United States, but they're in Africa, outside the jurisdiction of the United States.
