only accepts a certain percentage of discounted price from the apraised value on a Fannie Mae backed loan? I was wondering if anyone knew what this percentage is? Also is the negotiator assigned to the loan by the bank allowed to disregard these madates and make a judement call? The home was appraised for 280,000 2 months ago and I have offered 210,000 cash. Should I get my own apraisal?

If I req. GFE from mult.lenders does this trigger a credit report from each and won't it hurt FICO

I'm really afraid to start requesting GFEs because this is what I have been told by my sister-in-law who previously worked as a mortgage broker.She said I could fax the lenders a copy of the credit report that I have obtained(she got it for me) and as long as it is recent they should be able to use it.

Why wouldn't "top lenders"submit a quote since I have an Excellent credit score and very little debt
