How much is the minimum down payment i need to put to purchase a house in southern california.

I have 720 credit score and I am a first time buyer I never purchased any loans with my credit besides a car that I recently purchased, I would like to know how much down payment do I need to put to purchase a home I was told by an agent that I need to put down 20% but that is very unlikely that someone would have lets say 100k laying down somewhere to purchase a 500k house.

Can you please let me know the truth as to how much do I need?

Problems with Zillow account

I created a Zillow account, and set a "make me move" amount for my house at 13835 Valley Vista, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423. I went to change the amount, and it won't recognize my email address. Maybe I entered my email address incorrectly when I first set up the account? In any case, what can I do now. I created a new account, but it won't let me identify it with the house.

Nice neighborhoods near Sylmar?

I have been working in Sylmar (near the 210 and Mclay), but I live in Orange county and the commute is killer. I like Orange County, but want to live closer to work. Can anyone suggest some nice nighborhoods/cities not too far from Sylmar (maybe 30 miles) to raise a young family?

Incorrect Owner info listed on a house

I by mistake listed my mother as the owner of the house at 2868 N. Coolidge, LA. She passed away two weeks ago... I thought that I had pin point a house on Newell St that she actually does owe,,, Can you please remove her name and phone number at the owner... thanks... Robert Berg (robertberg@earthlink.net)

Listed in LA County assessor as 2 beds 2 baths.

I obtained copies of the building permits and certificate of occupancy (conversion from Duplex to single family).

Is there a way to correct LA County assessor's records?

This reflects an in-family transfer and should not adversely affect the resale value of the home, which it definitely would. Please correct this horrible error.
