My taxes were grossly incorrect for my escrow account by $4,000. Do I have a lawsuit?

We bought our home based on the bottom line of what our mounthy payments would be; taxes, insurance, principal/interest. The mortgage lender figured our escrow. We budgeted for it and knew we could afford what the loan said was going to be our mountly payment. After we closed the true taxes came to light and now we can't afford the monthly payments. The taxes were based on the prior owners taxes; our taxes would be $4,000 more! Is this a case for prepritory lending?

Excluding prior sales figure

Why has Zillow excluded the prior sale of my home from the Z-estimate? It shows the transaction ($1,150,000 on 2/16/07) but excludes it saying that it may not have been an arms length transaction. I bought the house from the builder through a broker. How is that not arms length? The z-estimate is therefore heavily skewed because the home was built on raw land. How can this be rectified?

Can a quick sell because of divorce skew the stats for Zillow. My offer now seems way to high?

My offer was made before I knew the house sold last year for the same amount I just offered. Looking at the stats on Zillow my offer shoud have been around 85K less. This seems way too high. The house is on Bethany Curve in Santa Cruz.
