Where do you get your sales data??? The house was listed at $749,000. It was a short sale and the realtor confirmed that it sold for $668,000!!!

We closed on our first home in May 09. But now we may move overseas by the end of 2010 or beginning of 2011. As we understand the $8,000 tax credit, we have to live in our first home for 3 years right?

For years the values Zillow has had were right on, then a few months ago you began reporting values of sales in our area that have been nearly twice as much as the actual sales. What has happend? Can you correct the data?

Is there a way to refi a 2nd home with MI built in?

I have a 2nd home in Hilo, HI that I now have to rent out (it is actually the first home I have owned but somehow claimed as a 2nd home since I do not live in it). I have a 6.75% 5 year ARM and have been forced to rent out the house but will lose my renters soon. If I can not find renters or refi to a lower rate and payment, I will not be able to afford the home. I have contact B of A to have the MI removed so I can refi but the request was denied. Is there anything I can do??

Correction to Zillow Error

This home is 4,280 sq. ft of living space and 4 beds, 4.5 baths, not 3199 sq. ft as shown in some places on Zillow. Per sq. ft. is $863, not $1,091 as shown above. The comps shown above are nowhere near this property and have nothing in common. Add a 3-car garage sq. footage and the Kahala Ave. prestige address to get what is a very fair price for this property.

The sales price listed (1.7 million) is WAAAAAY wrong. The house sold for $850K. Can you please verify (though I know, since I'm the owner) and correct? Thanks so much. LMC
