We have three sons, ages 9,7 and 3. Interested in a community with other families, good schools, safe, sense of community. Can you please recommend towns/developments/schools? I've been told Myrtle Grove is nice. For what its worth, we are relocating from New England.

I am confused as to why the Zestimate on this house has jumped $16,000 in 1 month?

I am looking at houses in the 28412 zip code. This house has a zillow curve typical of the homes in the area in the economic climate of the past few years. However accrding to the charts, in the past month zillow indicates that the market value of the house has increased $16,000?? How is that possible? None of the other houses in the area have increased at all in the past 30 days. Can anyone give me any insight?

What are the zoning restrictions for this lot that is being sold with 1117 S 6th Street property? How far from the property line can a building be built? Is it possible to build a garage on the property? What about approx measuremtns of the 2 properties together?

There is a problem with this listing....the house has 1,328 square feet.

This house is listed on www.realtor.com for sale with 1,328 square feet on a .32 acre lot. The square feet of the lot is13,939. Zillow has the house itself listed as 13,939 square feet. The listing price is $165,000. The Zestimate is $262,500. I have to asume that is based on the inflated square feet. Please correct the error.

I've called a few lenders, and they seem to have no idea of the concept. I thought that there were a few downpayment grants with a fha loan. They are trying to sell me on a USDA.
I'm looking for a low intrest loan with a small downpayment. My credit score is good. I don't have a big downpayment yet, but I want to jump on a good deal.

My comments included reporting that we had worked on a house built in 1883. It needed all new wiring, new kitchen, bathrooms, the floors had to be sanded, we had to remove 12 layers of wallpaper in every room, and found it was holding up the plaster,,,which then had to be replaced...but 406 Pine Valley Drive has no potential...the floors are carpet over subfloors and smell very moldy. The windows look like cheap alumimun storm windows. The front of the house needs major work, to be even acceptable, and that is not "opinion", it is "fact"..

short sale

We are looking at a short sale and need advise. A builder has some homes that are brand new and are close to being finished but filled chapter 11 and the homes are just sitting in limbo (for about a year now). They have said they will sale to us make them an offer for as is. We know the origianal sale price for if the house was finished but not sure what to offer since its not finished and there would be no warranty. I know the bank is the decision maker and would like to know what they owe on it to help.

This Zestimate seems way out of line for the condition of the house! Do you consider condition??

We went to see the house and found that it needs all new floors, windows, roof, HVAC, etc. It is only worth the land it is standing on. The neighborhood is a very good one, but this house is in BAD condition. We restored a house built in 1883 and this house is in worse conditon!
