Do I have any options? I have two mortgages and collectively my mortgages exceed the current value of my home. I've been in the home only a couple of years. I want to refinance to lower interest rate (one at 5.75 other at 8.75); however, I'm unsuccessful in finding a company. Need mortgage about 410K. Thanks
Additionally, is the Loan Modification program an option since I'm paying interest only...

bought my condo through a private hard money lender, is there any loan modifications for me?

I have a balloon mortgage that is due june 2010. I cannot get financing at a regular bank. They say I would have to come up with $20,000. to put down. I bought condo for $69,000. bank says they value the property at about $40-50,000. I need to come up with the rest. Looks bad for me at this point. Is there any help for this type of loan?
