zillow create your own estimate gives a lower estimate for a 2 story home, than a 1 story. why?

For all other variables held the same, the create your own estimate tool gives a lower estimate for a 2 story home than one story. Does anyone know why that is? I am looking in Palo Alto, CA.

Selling my mothers house (she is still alive) for tax purposes I need to know how much it was worth in Nov 1979 when my father died. There was no appraisal done
back then and no trust.

House not showing up

I've noticed that once in awhile a house will not show up on Zillow.com even though every other house around it shows up. How could this be? For example, the address: 719 Montrose Avenue, Palo Alto, CA does not show up even though it is obviously there and can be seen on the map in Zillow but can't be selected.

Hi,

Zillow has our entire neighborhood in the wrong school district and has incorrect schools listed as our "neighborhood" school. How does one let them know about this so they can fix it?
