How do you delete an answer(s) to a question when it was mistakenly posted more than once?

I posted an answer to a question and received the message "sorry, try again later" and hit the post button 3 more times only to receive the same message. I finally gave up trying to answer but when I went to the home details page, it showed the answer had actually posted not once but four times. I would like to remove the excess 3 answers as they are duplicates. Is there a way to do this?

Who on the internet can I contact so that we can get this mistake corrected? It's frustrating because people are never able to turn according to internet directions, because the street signs differ.
