I have been trying to unlist it, by checking the 'no longer for sale' button, but it won't let me change it. My agent has tried too! Please fix this problem, and help me take it off the market. The home is at 8659 Landing Lane, Port Orchard, WA 98367.

Logistical nightmare?

I have been living outside the US for just over 5 years and am planning my move back - landing in Western Washington state. I would prefer to purchase land and have a home built, but I am wondering if this will become a logistical nightmare. I have good US credit - will have about $65000 to put down towards a mortgage and expect the land+home to come in around $270K (this is with a 20% increase in building costs - it's a modest 1290 ft2 home). I have zero debt.

Can someone recommend the type of mortgage I should pursue? I was thinking a construction loan might be best - or perhaps I should buy the land outright and then work on a different loan type? Most likely, the land I purchase will require all the initial work (clearing, septic, well, etc) which will add at least $40K to the cost of the land.

Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

additional questions: what if any view does the home have, can we get pictures, what is the gerneral condition, and what is planned for the large lot just to the NW of the home?

This home is so incredible. I can't believe the built-ins and gorgeous wood. Is it really all original? Also, it appears to be three stories + basement. Is that correct?
