Hello! I'm newer to the business, and located in Colorado. While I intend to put years of quality work in and build referrals the old-fashioned way, I was wondering if there is any way to build (agent to agent) referral business quicker, particularly online.

I'd think there'd be a real need for referrals from out of State brokers who aren't licensed in my State, but there could even be same State opportunities to the extent that I work different territory than another broker does.

Explain Bi-Weekly Payments Please

Can someone explain bi-weekly payments please? I have been told that if you pay half your monthly mortgage payment every two weeks it is like the equivalent of paying on extra payment each year. Is this because if you make more frequent payments you pay down the principle faster, and then get charged less interest on it? As opposed to making extra principle payments each month, you are not actually paying any more money per year right? I don't completely understand. I am good with math so somebody whip out the equations if you can.

While rebates aren't for every buyer, if you are doing your own property searches on Zillow, odds are they're a great option for you.

My firm works only with Colorado buyers who are heading up their own search. We close the deal for these buyers, and rebate up to 66% of our commission back to them AT CLOSING...requiring them to bring less cash to closing! [content removed by moderator for being self promotional]

Up until September our upper end was holding strong. In Fact, through September, the [content removed by moderator for being self promotional] and [content removed by moderator for being self promotional] Market, as a whole, was beginning to show a strong increase in activity. September 15, 2008 the market drove off the end of a cliff and transaction sides fell by over 50%. Luckily, the market has changed course and we are now looking at a 29% reduction in year- over- year sales volume and are trending to start posting positive numbers this month. It will be interesting to see if the rest of the country is experienceing the same dynamics.

I cannot find a way to remove photos of my home. They were posted by the seller's agent if that matters. I have since claimed my home, and was able to update information. The "add/edit" button only gives me the option to add, and not edit, or remove.
