If I Prepay off the mortgage - it says there is no penalty....

but I think that still having to pay the entire finance charge, as if I was still paying over 30 years is quite a penalty!!
From the TiL:
"The amount financed is 115,000 and the finance charge is 142,000....258,000 total if paying as scheduled over 30 years."
The boxes (already checked) below that say "no penalty for prepayment", and "will not be entitled to a refund of part of the finance charge".
That means that even if I pay off the 115, 000 I borrowed in 5 years - I will still have to pay the 142,000 finance charge in addition to that??
That seems very wrong...............

My home shows that it was sold on 6/5/09 when it was actually sold on 2/18/09. How do you change it to the correct date? I can't find that option anywhere.

The realtor claimed it was Zillows type-0 and that I need to contact you. My house is not up for sale. the address is 1814 SE 15th Pl, Cape Coral, Fl. 33990 and they are selling SW 15th Pl. Please help.

Homes below replacement cost

Where in the world can you buy such low priced homes that are below their replacement cost? How much longer will this last? I am in the Cape Coral Florida market and its quite hot (not just outside) down here.
Homes are selling like buns at publix and I have buyers not even coming down to see them.

Look at this home. You can buy it at $69900. In 2005 this home was selling for $250000 and I am asking you, how much longer will this last?

I want to short sell my lot in Cape Coral , Florida because of a terrible investment I made, buying it at peak for $95,000, and now it's probably only worth $10,000, and I still owe about $88,000 on it. I bought a home in Massachusetts this February 2009 and I have a homestead act on it, protected for $500,000. My mortgage in Florida is through AmTrust Bank, and I don't know who to speak to regarding short selling it or foreclosing on it. I want to make sure that AmTrust can't come after me or my property in any harms way. I can;t afford the payments anymore on my lots. My intentions were to build on it but when I lost my job a couple years ago, I wasn;t able to afford it anymore because of earning a significant less amount of money. I tried making every payment on time, hoping that there's a chance the market will come back down there, but it doesn't look like it ever will, and I didn;t want to effect my credit, but at this point, I think it's worth making the move. Any suggestions on what I should do, or who I should contact?
