Just to let everyone know, I am not in default and I do not need a short sale. My mortgage is 388K. I just got the house in my name for a divorce settlement, but I do not have enough of an income to support the costs of this home, so I must sell it. I also may want to move in with my boyfriend in Arrowhead to share his lifestyle and expenses. I am not in a super big hurry, but I would like to sell it before next winter. I want to interview real estate agents that specialize in my town of San Juan Capistrano and who sell homes in my price range. All of the homes where I live are being sold for much more $ than mine. They are bigger, fancier and better landscaped, but mine has the best view, an ocean view and city lights. This is a spectacular neighborhood. Location, location, location, this is it. At the right price, this could sell fast! I have no money to make big improvements. The back yard is unfinished, but the house is a jewel, and ready to move into. It even has an attached apartment with a private entrance to help support the mortgage, the mother-in-law, grown children or a business. I started getting proposals on homegain.com, and that seems to be a good website with good realtors who are immediatly responding. What is their reputation compared to zillow.com?

Somebody contacted me about if I was interested in a short sale. What is that? Do you think he was a scammer real estate agent? He wanted to know if my house was still for sale, when it says right on it that it was posted for only one day. Thank you.
