FHA 90 no offer rule for investor flip homes

Hi Zillow experts I am in Southern CA and I have a question. My agent states that if a private investor purchases a house and flips it you cannot make FHA loan offers on it for 90 days. When I told me Bank of America Loan officer this he said that is not true. Who is right?

Personal Loan For Mortgage Down Payment

Hello zillow experts, I live in Southern California. I have been attempting to purchase a home for the last 4 months with no success. I have submitted 38 offers (with several agents), all over listing price but have gotten no progress using a 3.5% down FHA loan. I am $3,000 cash short of getting a 10% down convention loan. Is it a bad idea or illegal to apply for a $3,000 personal loan in order to finance my 10% down convention loan? Please explain. Thanks.

I know. All of Calif is susceptible to earthquakes. These houses are no different.

But ON an earthquake fault? That is insane.

This house has very good feng shui and everything.

$707,000 for a house worth $550,000.

The fact that the house is falling down that hill in the back might have something to do with that.

I offered 500K on this property last June '08 with 250K down. I still have a copy of the offer. How is it that it sold almost 10% less months later? Could it be an inside deal?
