Kitchen with powder room, or larger kitchen with no bathroom on first floor???

I own a 1930's 2-story 3 bedroom home that doesn't have a bath on the main floor. It has an awkward kitchen so we are completely re-doing it. picture a 12x12 area with a cove attached that is about 4x6. The question is do we go for a smaller kitchen (12x12) with a sm powder room (in the cove), or go for a bigger kitchen, recessed refrigerator, and continue without a bathroom on the first floor??

3 bedrooms or 4 bedrooms???

Our home is located in a highly desirable commuter town in NJ and we're looking to expand our ranch style home to either have 4 bedrooms/3baths or 3 bedrooms/2 baths on the second floor. This leaves 2 bedrooms/2 baths on the first floor. The main purpose of this addition is so that our kids will be on the same floor as us. We only need 3 rooms BUT for easier resale, should we go ahead and have 4 rooms on the same floor?

With the trend towards smaller homes, do we really need to have 4 rooms for resale? Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome.

I have a credit score between 575 and 630(depending on the credit bureau) and am looking to buy a house wiith a co borrower(GF soon to be wife) has a great credit score of 810. I would like to know if we would qualify for a mortage for about 200k. I make about 56k a year and have been at the same job for about 3 years and my gf makes about 27k and had the same job for 2 years. Also our monthly debt is about 750 for myself(auto loan and insurance and student loan) and she owes about 250 a month. Also we have about 18k to put down

Refinance Question.....

I recently purchased my new home in Dec with a Loan amt of 475,000K at a rate of 5.75. Because my loan is not a freedi mac or fany mae Loan its thru a local bank. and there jumbo loans start at 500,000K So I know I got a good deal however my bank is now offering an APR of 5.206 which would save me about 150.00 a month... Wishing I could get a loan close to 4.5 saving me 300+ a month.... My question is this should I refinance with my current lender at 5.206 and pay about 4,000.00 in cost... or should I shop elsewhere for a loan at 416,000K with a good rate somewhere in the high 4% range with a second loan or line of credit of 59,000K... I havea second home im currently renting but plan to sell within the next few years so im not too worried about the second 59,000K loan as I will be paying that off once my first home is sold.. I'm not sure what I should do and im worried my current banks rate of 5.206 will jump higher very soon..... whats your advice....

Current Mortgage holder Wells Fargo pulled my reports

Looking at refi of existing fixed 6.25%. My score came in at 724 husband at 703 so she said we would need to use the 703. When I asked for a copy of the report(s) pulled she said she could not disclose that information because they are not a credit reporting agency. Does this sound right? I thought if someone pulled our reports and we requested they had to give us a copy. Also, a almost 5k bill to homedepot is still showing as open instead of paid in full ( last week in February) How often are they updated and does that affect scores much?

I bought credit scores myfico said 702 and 686 but lender had a fico of 632 is this common?

My experian score was 702, my TransUnion score was 686. But the lender came back and said that my lowest FICO was 632. I have been trying to find where that score could have come from - where can I find the same scores that the broker was using?

I have a large no interest loan and a small adjustable home equity. We are currently upside down due to my home value decreasing. When the value goes up enough to refinance the first loan, can I do that? or do I have to refinance both?
