My budget is $400k but i like houses here listed as $450k.. i cant increase my budget for now.. is there a way i get huge bargains, or i should forget about it ?

Our 2005 purchase price is written as $659,990. Â In actuality we paid considerably more, approximately $50,000 in upgrades prior to closing, and an additional $40 to $50,000 when we moved into the home. Â Listing our 2005 purchase price as $659,990 appears to a potential buyer that our home is grossly overpriced at $774,900. Â Is there any way to change the 2005 price or add that there were several upgrades added prior to closing?

I will be replacing my 20 year old furnace with a new, high efficiency gas model. The contractor has offered the option of installing a heat pump for an additional $8K.

I am interested to know how much value buyers in the Seattle area place in this type of HVAC set-up.

Can the loan servicer be changed in the middle of a trial period?

I have received and sent back my Make Home Affordable package and a check for the first trial month. Then I received a letter from the bank stating that servicing of my loan has been transfer to another institution. And that I should start sending my normal payments to the new servicer starting at the same time as my trial period.

It is obvious that one department does not know what the other department is doing.

My question is; can they do this? It would seem that I have to complete my trial with the original loan servicer, get the modification in place, and then transfer servicing.

Complicating matters is that the original loan company and servicer also has the second mortgage and has stated that it will not get modified until sometime during the trial period.

I see a whole lot of confusion and trouble coming if they follow through with the transfer.

My home at 23545 14th Dr. S.E. says it sold for $561,000 in 2006. I bought it new in 2000; it has never been resold; I have never refinanced it. The information is just plain wrong. How do you correct this?

Why are the 30 day and 1 year % values different for homes in the same subdivision?

I live in a small subdivision of 28 homes, all built around the same time but the % increase in value for the past 30 days and 1 year (under Historical Value Trends) are different for all of them. It seems to me the % increase or decrease would be the same unlike the actual $ amount.
What's up?
