My house should not go down, it is beautiful inside and out. and why have not my neighbors on either side gone down equal percentage??? I just added landscaping also.

My neighbors house in in foreclosure and it, on your site, is the same value. I certainly have kept my house much better than he has and you say mine has gone down. Tell me how do you come to this decision??????? NM

Sorry that we don't have many photos of the interior, this is in part because we don't plan to sell the house -- ever! But if we take more, we will certainly upload them. Would love to see it, I lived in this house for 6 years. My parents divorced and sold it in 1980. Really would love to see what changes have been made, there use to be just 3 bathrooms (one on each floor) and 3 bedrooms. Downstairs had a den, breakfast room, dining, living, sunroom and kichen. the basement had a maidsroom with bath, oil room, laundry shoot closet and laundry room as well as a furnace room. i remember the walls were so thick and the ceiling in the basement was concrete. the home was completely rewired in 1979.
There was an attic room also across from my bedroom with cedar closets. Just really one of the exceptionally beautiful homes on the ridge, the wall spanning the property on crest road was beautiful as well, I last visited the house in June 2003 and took some pictures, regret not knocking on the door. I live in So. Lake Tahoe, Ca., now, so do not make it to Chattanooga very often.

Yes I'm a first time home buyer and Yes I was trying to get the $8000 tax credit. I was told by the lender that since I could not move in or occupy the home within the time frame given for a VA/conventional loan, the property would have to be listed as a rental and not as a primary home. I really like the house and I didn't want to pass up the opportunity of being able to own it as my home. It would be my oasis when I'm on leave. My family has agreed to maintain the property in my absence. Having it listed as a rental property appears to be more complicated as listing it as a primary residence. Trying to understand it all. I may be out of the $8000 tax credit but at least I found a place that I can call home and that it belongs to me. Thanks for your input.
