The historical information on our home says it was appraised at $684,000; although, we purchased it brand new at the height of the market for $455,000. It seems that the City of Woodland is providing you incorrect information or someone is inputting the incorrect information into your database. My question is whether the incorrect high water mark on the value of the property has an effect on the current estimated value of the property?

I have a first mortgage of 401,000 and a second of 45,000. The a.r.m. on the first will adjust in 2011 and the second is 11.9%. Due to the fact this is a rental property and it has a jumbo loan tagged to it. The house is worth approximately 246,000 per this site.

My husband and I are thinking about buying but not sure if its a good plan at this point. We have at least 5 years in the area but are currently just renting a room with others for 700/mo. If we bought a small place we could probably rent out a room to friends in school for $400-$700 depending on the situation. Can't decide if its a good plan. Any thoughts?

Would you please ask the listing agent to remove 925 3rd St 95695, which sold two months ago? I've contacted him twice with this request and it still shows as for sale.
