Increased income limit for $8000 first time credit becomes effective immediately or Dec 1st?

I bought a home and close end Nov. I was not eligible for $8000 because of income cap, but I am eligible now after income cap has been raised. Will I be ok to claim the credit if I close Nov end. Or does the bill become law Dec1 or on Nov 6 (when Prez Obama signed it)?

Make Me Move Price

If you happen to be watching, you might have noticed that I have lowered our 'Make Me Move" price a few times over the last 2 years. It was previously at 840K. Then I moved it down to 800K. This was primarily a response to the declining home prices in Seattle (off about 6% at this time and expected to go to about 10% off when it is all over).

However, the newest change down to 760K reflects the tanking market in San Diego, CA.

This is where we are headed; and to get there requires us to sell our house first (well sort of first). So now you as a potential buyer get to buy a cool house in Redmond, WA but benefit from the terrible housing market in San Diego (which is off about 22%).

It is shame that Zillow's estimate is not using the actual average per square footage for our neighborhood. During the last year, houses were selling much closer to 300 per square foot. It also is claiming that comps to our house are 250 per square foot; this is because it is comparing our house to ramblers. Yes technically our house has a day basement (since the first floor is below the ground of the back yard) but it is not as such (it is at ground level to the front of the house). Plus our house is nowhere near rambler. It is an ultra modern design with an open layout. The Zillow estimate really should be using something between 260 & 280 per square foot.

I want to buy an investment property in the Redmond/Bellevue/Kirkland area. Right now, I am looking at condos/townhomes. I heard that there were lawsuits against builders due to defective sidings that were installed on the buildings. How do I make sure that the unit I am considering to buy does not have these problems?

The house facts on the popup dialog does not match what's displayed on the details page

On the popup see picture above, it says:
16853 NE 88th St, Redmond, WA
Zestimate $719,500

5 Beds
3.0 Baths
3,120 sqft
While on the details page it says:

16853 NE 88th St Redmond WA 98052

5 beds, 4.5 baths, 3,837 sq ft
Zestimate: $719,500

The number of bath rooms does not match: popup say 3, details says 4.5, and the total square footage does match either, popup says 3120 while the details page says 3837. Looks like the info on the popup is not up to date.

The Zestimate that is shown on the map is different than the one you get when you click on the home

When I type in the address of my house, I see a Zestimate that is 200,000 lower than the Zestimate that I get when I click on the house itself.

The listing we have at 2458 W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE Redmond Wa 98052 has the old, original price 1,499,000 on the initial page that pops up. I want to change this so it reflects the lowered price of 1,425,000 which is shown when you click on the picture, How do I change this?
