I get so frustrated about the zillow estimates. My property 1184/1186 Islay St. 93401 has a much larger lot, had TWO houses vs one, has been upgraded and remodeled substantially, has income potential of $2700 vs $1600, as compared to the houses next door, but always gets a much lower zestimate. Zillow should not be allowed to do this.. it potentially would adversely affect the price I would get on selling my property.. we should be allowed to remove the zestimate.. I hate this website.. bunch of jerks who don't care about a real property value and ignore real input.. jerks!

This is not a single family dwelling. It is rented out to students, and they keep the place a mess on the outside. They have been reported to police for the mess.

value of neighboring homes...

my property is a PUD, separate houses, common driveway. mine and the other front one are exactly the same plan, opposite sides of driveway...mine valued by Zillow at almost $20,000 less than the other. The other houses (farther from street) each have one less bedroom, but are valued even higher. Any explanation? Mine was completely painted, new carpet, shades, etc. about 1 year ago. Also, both are 3 bedroom 2 bath, but the one opposite mine is listed as 2 bedroom 3 baths. I saw both underconstruction and they are identical!

It is a PUD but SFR per the property's legal description. I believe this is affecting your valuation of the property and request that you correct it. Contact the county assessor for clarification.
