I keep hearing about the 7 day waiting period From underwriters to closing that came out July 2009.

Trying to buy a house and this is the forth time our closing has be delayed. It started with the mortgage company not doing our finances right. We have good credit just . We just have alot of credit cards. But She forgot to add in the child support. So that put us up there. So we paid off some bills. we work with her to make sure we got everything just right.so we had to wait for everything to clear the credit. that extended the date out even farther. set a new date again. #3 Passed first review, went into a second, never heard any thing back. two days before got a call saying there changing company's and someone else is doing the loan, So now we are just hanging again. And we where told it would still take an extra 7 days from the date of the disclosure. Something does not sound right

Having good credit scores does not mean you can get a loan?

My husband is in the 700's mine is in the upper 600's We are still have trouble because our debt is high . We passed a first underwriters, but not the second one. Good credit score or not you will have problems And every time someone looks at your credit scores you take a big hit, even though you pay a couple of bill off.

Bad mortgage company invested to deep

What happens is the mortgage company is giving you the run around, day everything ok and the next they call you 8 in the evening and things are delayed again. We are so close to the end and don't have the time or money to start over again

I am a student and i made a contract with an apartment on July 27, 2009 for one year. I didnt get the key yet and I didn't move in and i don't even know the room number. I decided to can the contract and went there, but they told me the only way to cancel the contract is by finding a replacement for me. I was wondering is this true and can I do anything other than that and being forced to stay?
