On all three appraisals the appraiser stated "No updates in the last 15 years" which was a lie. We have made numerous updates on all three properties including but not limited to central heat/air, roofs, updated bathrooms, kitchens, floors, new plumbing & wiring, etc. Needless to say the lender is not willing to refi on any of them because the homes are in "disrepair" even though they are all perfectly "livable".

3 replies Thu, 02 Apr 2015 13:39:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-I-dispute-an-appraisal-based-on-incorrect-comments-made-by-the-appraiser/581309/ 2015-04-02T13:39:00Z Getting a FHA streamline refinance on a manufactured home? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Getting-a-FHA-streamline-refinance-on-a-manufactured-home/567619/ I live in Missouri and I am looking to get a streamline refinance on my home. My credit score is about 680 and my interest rate is at 5.35%. Is it possible for me to get a refinance and does anybody have any suggestions?

8 replies Sun, 23 Nov 2014 16:10:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Getting-a-FHA-streamline-refinance-on-a-manufactured-home/567619/ 2014-11-23T16:10:00Z what sizemust a closet beforusda loan http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/what-sizemust-a-closet-beforusda-loan/578106/ 1 reply Sun, 08 Mar 2015 03:44:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/what-sizemust-a-closet-beforusda-loan/578106/ 2015-03-08T03:44:00Z Looking for FHA new construction lender in Missouri http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Looking-for-FHA-new-construction-lender-in-Missouri/577135/ I am having a hard time locating a lender in Missouri that offers the FHA one time close new construction loan. My situation is that I have parents who want to gift me funds for my home purchase, but that money is not going to be available until several months later and I am looking to purchase before that time-frame simply because my lease will end and also because there are more choices of homes during spring (from what I've been told).

If I get a loan now and use the funds that I receive later to pay off a chunk of the loan:
1) Will it reduce the monthly mortgage expense?
2) Will it be more expensive than waiting for the funds and getting a smaller loan (imagine that the gift is arbitrary amount, say half of the home price)?
3) Should I let the lenders know?
