Can you change your bid in an open bid in order to match others?

4) Is there a separate reserve price for different bidders (regular and investors)? Perhaps a higher reserve price for investors? etc..Do the banks care if property is sold to investors as opposed to regular buyers?

Thx..

10 replies Wed, 19 Jan 2011 16:23:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/About-bidding-on-a-HUD-home/381474/ 2011-01-19T16:23:00Z Can a foreclosed owner offer to re-purchase that same home? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-a-foreclosed-owner-offer-to-re-purchase-that-same-home/540841/ We have been allowed to rent the home we lost in foreclosure. Signing off that the bank has no intentions of making any repairs, etc. We are doing an FHA loan and the appraisal came back asking for installation of Range/Oven, Microwave, dishwasher and disposal. My main concern is that I don't own the house and don't know how comfortable I feel placing my appliances into a home I do not own, probably isn't secure, and have no authorization over who goes in and out. Can anyone find us a dreamhouse w/glass high up maybe a view of city lights. Not a big sprawling place, maybe a place that needs some work, a simple 2br+ w/ garage is all we ask. Just sending out a feeler if anyone knows of a property like this. Thank you, and happy living. We live in Arizona, and considering getting something around the Queen Creek area since the houses are newer there, the neighborhood is not bad and the prices are comparatively low (we are open for other areas too, just want to get the right house for us!)

Well, a little background, my boyfriend and I are considering buying a house but we don't know anything about real estate at all! I know that there're foreclosure houses, short sell houses and rent to own houses and we don't know which one would be the best option for us (we really don't know what each one are). My boyfriend don't have good credits so we think it will be best to use mine if we have to get a mortgage or a loan whatever we need to get the money for the house. We probably won't have much for down payment neither (would that be a problem?) so we are looking for some of your professional opinions to which direction we should go.

Thank you!

14 replies Wed, 20 Nov 2013 23:35:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/buying-my-first-home/519648/ 2013-11-20T23:35:00Z can you by a foreclosure with a v a loan http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/can-you-by-a-foreclosure-with-a-v-a-loan/512033/ 10 replies Thu, 19 Sep 2013 19:08:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/can-you-by-a-foreclosure-with-a-v-a-loan/512033/ 2013-09-19T19:08:00Z How do I get more information regarding this location? 4775 e Horse Mesa Tr. http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/How-do-I-get-more-information-regarding-this-location-4775-e-Horse-Mesa-Tr/510513/ I see this location is up for forclosure. Who do I contact for specific information on potentially purchasing this home?

3 replies Sun, 08 Sep 2013 23:29:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/How-do-I-get-more-information-regarding-this-location-4775-e-Horse-Mesa-Tr/510513/ 2013-09-08T23:29:00Z In a short sale if the seller took the appliances but they're listed, can I ask for a credit? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/In-a-short-sale-if-the-seller-took-the-appliances-but-they%27re-listed-can-I-ask-for-a-credit/489059/ I'm looking at a short sale in AZ.
