I've been searching reviews etc. for several buyers agents in this area and I'm wondering what questions should be asked of prospects when interviewing to make our selection. What will make the potential agent stand out from the others? How can you determine which agent will work the hardest and have our best interest in mind? We live on the East coast so that makes things more difficult. We have been told that the way to work is to have agents send photos and descriptions of property and wait until an offer is accepted subject to a time for due diligence and then travel to have a look. This is understandable but not particularly acceptable. We would prefer to find a buyer's agent and then make a trip to the area for 10 days or so and view a list of possible properties and then make offers on them from here if needed. We have several things we would expect in any property considered and would need the buyers agent to work with us on those needs. Any advice would be appreciated.<br \><br \>10 replies Fri, 28 Mar 2014 20:50:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/How-to-find-the-best-buyers-agent-in-the-Las-Vegas-NV-area/534211/ 2014-03-28T20:50:00Z when all cash purchasing a $170,000. short sale home in Nevada how much are closing costs to buyer http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/when-all-cash-purchasing-a-170-000-short-sale-home-in-Nevada-how-much-are-closing-costs-to-buyer/542513/ 1 reply Mon, 26 May 2014 08:08:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/when-all-cash-purchasing-a-170-000-short-sale-home-in-Nevada-how-much-are-closing-costs-to-buyer/542513/ 2014-05-26T08:08:00Z how do home loans work? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/how-do-home-loans-work/535802/ i want to purchase a home because i am tired of wasting my money renting but how can i get a house without putting any money down?<br \><br \>3 replies Wed, 09 Apr 2014 19:06:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/how-do-home-loans-work/535802/ 2014-04-09T19:06:00Z Buying in Blue Diamond http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Buying-in-Blue-Diamond/535784/ My husband and I are looking for a house to retire to. We have a medium size (30-35 lb) well mannered and Quiet dog and would not likely consider a backyard that is not fully fenced. Could be any type of fence as long as it is secure and we would expect it to be attractive and to pay for the fence to be installed if not already there. I've read the CC & R's for these areas and now have these questions. If there is no existing fence is it possible to have some sort of guarantee built into the purchase agreement to insure the fence could be added after the purchase. or better yet could it be part of the offer and agreement to have the current owner get the fence installed at our cost prior to closing with the final closing being contingent upon the fence being installed. It appears that several rules would have to be met prior to fencing. If we were to purhcase a property and then find out it could not be fenced than we would be stuck selling it again.<br \><br \>1 reply Mon, 17 Mar 2014 16:49:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Fencing-property-in-Sun-City-Summerlin-or-Sun-City-MacDonald-Ranch/532638/ 2014-03-17T16:49:00Z How do I find about which states DO NOT require your spouse to sign a real estate acquisition.. http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/How-do-I-find-about-which-states-DO-NOT-require-your-spouse-to-sign-a-real-estate-acquisition/531846/ 4 replies Tue, 11 Mar 2014 15:09:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/How-do-I-find-about-which-states-DO-NOT-require-your-spouse-to-sign-a-real-estate-acquisition/531846/ 2014-03-11T15:09:00Z
