But there's the dilemma, if no renter-occupancy ratio is set in the bylaws, the condo value could drop if renter-occupancy rate is over 20%-30% and the owner would have capital loss when he sales the condo. If the bylaws protects condo value by having a set renter-occupancy rate, the owner might not be able to rent the condo at all. Is there any ways to have both the rental income and avoid the capital loss when selling the condo? Or it's a bad investment idea to begin with?

3 replies Sat, 10 Mar 2012 03:48:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Condo-rental-investment-good-idea-or-bad-idea/434646/ 2012-03-10T03:48:00Z are investment mortgage interest different than owner occupied mortage interest http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/are-investment-mortgage-interest-different-than-owner-occupied-mortage-interest/394517/ 11 replies Mon, 11 Apr 2011 13:19:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/are-investment-mortgage-interest-different-than-owner-occupied-mortage-interest/394517/ 2011-04-11T13:19:00Z Can I get a loan for a rental property with 10% down? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-I-get-a-loan-for-a-rental-property-with-10-down/374481/ 2 replies Wed, 10 Nov 2010 17:59:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-I-get-a-loan-for-a-rental-property-with-10-down/374481/ 2010-11-10T17:59:00Z purchasing a property for investment http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/purchasing-a-property-for-investment/362834/ i am purchasing a 2 family property in west haven ct but in the allingtown section which is not the best section of west haven i purchase the property for 110k and got a 203k loan that made go up to 134k the property is 2,088 sq feet with two really big garages and a nice size yard what are my chances to sell this property in a bout a year or two your opinion please

3 replies Thu, 19 Aug 2010 12:19:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/purchasing-a-property-for-investment/362834/ 2010-08-19T12:19:00Z CT REIA Monthly Meeting with Mark Klee and Caryn McKinney http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/CT-REIA-Monthly-Meeting-with-Mark-Klee-and-Caryn-McKinney/361924/ CT REIA, Mark Klee, and Caryn McKinney presents:
Where do Bankruptcies really fit into the Investing Puzzle

August 16 - 5:30 to 9:00 PM
Crowne Plaza Hotel. 100 Berlin Road.
