My concern is the house we are renting now has a lease ending by end of December 2013. As per the lease terms, we will need to pay any rent for the remaining term. I won't be able to afford both mortgage and rent at the same time. At the same time, it's very hard to give up a good house.
Any suggestions to work with the rental company so we don't have to pay for all the 5 months? The house is in the same town as the rental.

4 replies Tue, 30 Jul 2013 23:08:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Ready-to-put-an-offer-rent-lease-term-will-be-over-in-next-5-months/504445/ 2013-07-30T23:08:00Z Is it better to be on a main road in a better town? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Is-it-better-to-be-on-a-main-road-in-a-better-town/428761/ I am looking to buy a home. I want to know if its better for resale to be in a town which has better schools and better reputation but is on a busier road, or on a quiet side road in a town with schools that aren't as good. I put nearly nothing down. The remaining principle is about 209k. I am out of the country for most of the year but i have a friend of mine live there and take care of it for me. He also pays half of the rent. Since then I have gotten married and had my first child. Thinking into the future i do not really want to raise my son in this particular part of worcester. I have seen some nicer bigger homes in a near by neighborhood that got for 325k or so. We have about 60k saved right now and hope to have around 80-100k by this time next year. My daughter is going to be 2 this summer. I am looking for some advice to get into this new home as soon as possible. I also would like to know what are my best options and what I should do with my current condo. I know this is not the best market for selling. I am very stressed about this situation and would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you ! P.S. I already pay about 2700 in bills each month not sure if that is relevant or not but wanted to throw that out there .

6 replies Tue, 09 Nov 2010 11:28:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Need-more-space-for-my-family-in-a-better-neighborhood-but-i-don%27t-have-much-equity-on-my-first-hom/374296/ 2010-11-09T11:28:00Z
