How do you estimate the 30-day price change of a house? I found in the same street, the price change percentage varies from house to house.

I see homes for sale in residential developments with 6350 acre lots, which is mythical! How can I trust or even search Zillow with such unpredictable data?

Suggestion: Incomplete home profiles are affecting the utility of the Zillow service.

Lately, I've seen many listings that are missing:
* A complete address (usually they are missing the numeric bit of the address)
* Bedrooms
* Bathrooms
* Photos that are actually of the property, not just cadged from the "Bird's Eye View" map shown on the site.
* Other crucial data, such as the fact that it's a "post-foreclosure/pre-auction" property listed as a 'sale' not as a 'foreclosure'.
These properties are cluttering up the listings, reducing (almost to the point of eliminating) any usefulness that Zillow currently has.

Please consider making (at the very, very least) a complete street address, and an honest appraisal of which category (for sale/foreclosure/Make Me Move) a mandatory part of creating a listing.

Why are some homes unavailable on Zillow although they are published on MLS?

I am looking for a multifamily residential investment property. When I identify one that I am interested in, I like to look it up on Zillow to get more info. But often the property I am considering would not be available on zillow.
Interestingly enough, a home that is not for sale, e.g. my own home, is availalbe at zillow.

Foreclosure .com "Listings" - Misleading or Not?

These foreclosure .com "listings" on Zillow are really bringing down the integrity of the site's data. Anyone else agree? Trulia went down this road with realty trac and it really dilluted the quality information available.

Look at the listing for this house:

They hide the address, give a price, and then hope you'll pay for the subscription fee. This home is already listed by an agent and is on the MLS. There's already a buyer under contract. If the regular MLS listing was used, a consumer could have gotten this information for free.

That's one of the good "listings". Look at this one:

No price, no address, no bedrooms, no baths. "It represents a great time to strike a deal with a homeowner who is no longer meeting his or her monthly mortgage obligations." Sure, if we had an address, and any guarantee that the homeowner actually wanted to sell.

Some of these "listings" even make up a "price" by using the value of the loan on the home--again, not helpful.

We can't even see a picture of the home until we pull out the credit card. Does this make you trust foreclosure .com enough to pay for a subscription?

Zillow's estimate for a typical McMansion is $7.3 MILLION.

4 beds, 2.5 baths, 1,971 sq ft
Zestimate: $7,330,500

Amazingly, the home details appear correct. Is someone smoking Maui wowie, or is Zillow now valuating in Ameros?
