What are our chances for getting a mortgage on a single family home when we've only been paying off our condos for 3-4 years and despite having put 20% down, I am just short of having equity now. The home needs roof, dry-wall and some drainage work so I expect to use all of the 30k in renovation financing for these repairs. However, I would also like to install solar on the roof and a grey-water system since I am already doing roof and drainage repairs. To be able to afford this I would need additional funds and was wondering whether it would be possible to add Energy Efficient Mortgage financing on top of the HomePath Renovation Mortgage. Any thoughts our insights would be much appreciated.<br \><br \>6 replies Wed, 06 Oct 2010 04:19:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-I-combine-a-HomePath-Renovation-Loan-with-an-Energy-Efficient-Mortgage/368965/ 2010-10-06T04:19:00Z Why do all of my quotes for a 30yr fixed mortgage in DC for $619k come in as Jumbo?? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Why-do-all-of-my-quotes-for-a-30yr-fixed-mortgage-in-DC-for-619k-come-in-as-Jumbo/179867/ I thought that the jumbo limit for '09 was $625k and the Economic Stim. plan rates were in the $700's for DC. Why does everyone keep sending me jumbo quotes?<br \><br \>5 replies Sat, 20 Dec 2008 22:14:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Why-do-all-of-my-quotes-for-a-30yr-fixed-mortgage-in-DC-for-619k-come-in-as-Jumbo/179867/ 2008-12-20T22:14:00Z
