Noise Pollution

I mostly love Vassar St & Park Ave. But I really hate the loud porch parties that are common on the weekends, around holidays, and ESPECIALLY during the Park Avenue Festival. Some of these parties go on into the wee hours of the morning--getting more rowdy as the consumption of alcohol and energy drinks increases. Too many residents (who tend to be young, white, and single) don't give a flip about the noise ordinance, and the city policy department seems unwilling to enforce it.

My Land assessment is too high

It jumped from $40,000 to $63,000 in less than 2 years. Every lot in the subdivision is assessed the same, no matter what size lot you have. I could never sell an empty lot over here for $63,000!
