w/580+ fico -able to provide substantial down pmt- can show proof of consistent mortgage payments for last year or so-but last 2 years tax returns hardly show any income. I'm on title here with primary lender ( I am not on the loan)- will being on title stop FHA aapproval? Would a 300,000 loan be possible- I am a first time buyer. I need to get my own home. Primary here not serious about keeping home. Doesn't make sense to continue to pay mortgage in other persons name. But again I'm on title! What should I do?

Is there a way on Zillow to find large lots in the Las Vegas area?

It looks like the local listing market uses a different convention from most places for lot size. Unless I miss my guess, the lot size is listed as front length, one side, the other side, all in feet. Unfortunately, when fed into zillow's computer that makes it look like every house in Vegas is on 6000 acres or more. ;) I have a semi-dormant dream of getting some private acreage and a small house waaaay out there -- maybe in the mountains, and about as far from the city as possible while still being on the grid. What's the best way to learn about these types of properties?

Demographics for Tule Springs

Okay, dumb question here. On the Zillow demographics for Tule Springs it says that the area is more likely to have Korean speaking individuals. Is it just me or has anyone seen a single Korean speaking person up here? I see horses, rural areas, your basic average American family, but I have yet to see a person that speaks Korean? Where do they get this stuff? And the compas are all over the board with houses that dont match in lot size, number of stories etc. The seem to only match comps by year of build and square feet.....anyway, just wondering.

Neighborhood Cleanup & Market

Is there anyone else in this area who would like to participate in a neighborhood cleanup? I'd like to get some of the community walls bordering Alta and Buffalo repainted.

Also, would anyone be interested in participating in a Sunday Morning Market of sorts at the park here? Perhaps we could get some local businesses to put up tents around the walkway and get more people interested in the area.
