I moved here in Meriden, RRt5 ,south of Rt 66 in 2002 from Big City Bridgeport [my yacht and son's are still there] and realized it only get's better [ except for Re-Vale/New Tax Mil rate ] .This Whole raised Conn. river valley [Meriden/Wallingford/Cheshire] is the prefered Sub-burb for New Haven, Waterbury, & Hartford w/ major Rail-lines to Boston & New York and I-91 & [scenic]Rt 15.

--->''GOOGle'' Meriden Daffodil Festival or Castle Craig or even Silver City circa 1800-1900's.

20-40 miles from Anything you could possibly want at a Middle Income Price and I would only recommend Riverside/Ol'Greenwich Ct. as a better destination.

(I'm from RYE,NY & Cos Cob,Ct. originally and on the Lay-Off list at at&t, so I will soon be migrating to NOLA or the Yuccitan Peninsula{seller here} ]

Quiet Neighborhoods

I'm looking to move to Meriden. I'm looking for a quiet area that is mostly residential. Are there any particular streets or neighborhoods that I should shy away from? I don't know much about the area, so any information would help.
