Natomas - Sacramento's favorite topic

I want to know if other folks are happy in their homes. We really like our neighborhood and the people in it, but the SacBee and folks living in other parts of Sacramento just keep pounding away on the Natomas area. (Floodplain, stupid for buying here, etc.) I even had someone from the Pocket give me grief. Anyone have any insight on why so many people hate Natomas? Thanks!

Hello Experts,
Need your advice. I bough a 4-plex in Rancho Cordova few weeks ago and now is in process of complete remodeling.
Hope it will be on the rental market in few weeks. What strategy should I use to attract new tenants and fill vacancy ASAP with stable tenants?
Price range 750 - 800/month for 2b/1bath

So far I'm thinking of few strategies:
- P first month off to move in with 1 year lease;
- $99 first month rent for approved tenants with 1 year lease;
- $100 gift certificate to local store
- ????

What place would you recommend me to use for my add?
- craigslist
- Sacramento Bee
- radio
- flayers to local stores

Why is the middle school still called Goethe? It was renamed Sara Parks months ago.

The area between 68th Ave and Florin Road west of 21st St is Rancho Willow and served by the Cabrillo Park Neighborhood Association and Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Library.

Please check your values on 1733 40th street and 1632 40th street 2 brm 1bath vs 5 brms and 2 baths.

1733 has around 1,000 square feet and 1632 has 2,258 square feet. Your values are great if the property has sold in the past year, any longer than that are suspect.

I am considering moving to Sacremento but haven't a clue about in what area I should be looking for a home. Any suggestions of what areas are best to avoid and what areas have better schools? I am doing my own researching but would like an insider's opinion. I am an elementary teacher so that I am not worried about being close to my work. I need a place to live that is in a nice, clean, in a relatively low crime area with high community pride. Thanks for any help!

Start up keeping your front yards, and remove non-functional vehicles from the front of your house. I'm propsing an ordinance where homeowners can be advised, fined or even lose their home for lack of up keep. Keep natomas Beautiful and our property value up.

Homicide, Violence, Drugs and Gangs

Del Paso Heights is not a good area to live in. It is a very poor neighborhood and is known for violence, gangs, drugs, and homicides. I used to live their but I moved because everyday I seen people fighting,I heard gunshots everynight, police helicopter roaming around almost everynight. I hated Del Paso Heights.
