I noticed that the data was based on the 2000 census, but it's 2008. The Wilmore neighborhood is an up and coming diverse neighborhood that people are investing time into because of its proximity to uptown. Many young professionals that are single, married and married with kids are moving into the neighborhood. This had drastically changed the neighborhood in the last five years.

1 reply Fri, 15 Feb 2008 14:33:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Neighborhood-Information/21074/ 2008-02-15T14:33:00Z I live in a one family, five bedroom home in the north Charlotte community of Withdrow Downs. http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/I-live-in-a-one-family-five-bedroom-home-in-the-north-Charlotte-community-of-Withdrow-Downs/264754/ I am attempting to find out what the approxomate value would be now

1 reply Wed, 05 Aug 2009 16:25:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/I-live-in-a-one-family-five-bedroom-home-in-the-north-Charlotte-community-of-Withdrow-Downs/264754/ 2009-08-05T16:25:00Z want to know more about the Nevin Community Center 1location 2board members 3when do they meet http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/want-to-know-more-about-the-Nevin-Community-Center-1location-2board-members-3when-do-they-meet/256502/ 0 replies Wed, 15 Jul 2009 16:14:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/want-to-know-more-about-the-Nevin-Community-Center-1location-2board-members-3when-do-they-meet/256502/ 2009-07-15T16:14:00Z Can you offer a house for rent on Zillow? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-you-offer-a-house-for-rent-on-Zillow/253088/ 3 replies Mon, 06 Jul 2009 02:04:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Can-you-offer-a-house-for-rent-on-Zillow/253088/ 2009-07-06T02:04:00Z Property Taxes upto 50% less in SC. (this project has stalled) People have been able to get into Cherry for good prices recently and I think the area has good potential to continue to clean up. However, the Charlotte Housing Authority does not manage their sites well (they mow, but never sow seed, so its weedy or mainly dirt), and as you can guess, there are some unsavory residents and guests hanging out on site doing unlawful things. CHA mostly turns the other cheek to all of these issues despite calls, etc from neighbors. Does anyone have suggestions for this kind of situation or know any information about plans for the area?

1 reply Wed, 06 May 2009 18:36:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Cherry-neighborhood/231923/ 2009-05-06T18:36:00Z Wesley Heights Historic Uptown Neighborhood Comeback http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Wesley-Heights-Historic-Uptown-Neighborhood-Comeback/193872/

Many neighborhoods surrounding Uptown Charlotte are seeing a huge resurgence and gentrification. While it is quite unfortunate the state of affairs of most of the country?s major real estate markets, Charlotte, NC is booming. We are not flying through the statistics with the speed of a super hero, but we are definitely up. For many years, Charlotte and the surrounding townships have had slow steady growth and that trend is projected to continue for years to come. It is a wonderful time to buy real estate in the Charlotte area and it is not a bad time to sell either. Inventory is typically selling for, on average, $4,500 below asking price, so in the grand scheme of things that is not bad at all.

10 replies Thu, 15 Nov 2007 00:22:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/No-Recession-Here/11805/ 2007-11-15T00:22:00Z Zillow has incorrect Highland Creek Schools Info http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Zillow-has-incorrect-Highland-Creek-Schools-Info/42641/
Zillow lists a ton of socioeconomic information about the neighborhood of Highland Creek. However every single piece of school data, like names of elementary school, middle school, high school are wrong or missing.

Is there any way to change this?

I can't find an "edit" button on the overall neighborhood page, though I did edit mine. If you need better school data check out 5726 Swanston Dr.

2 replies Sun, 14 Sep 2008 03:16:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Zillow-has-incorrect-Highland-Creek-Schools-Info/42641/ 2008-09-14T03:16:00Z (Moved): Zillow has incorrect Highland Creek Schools Info http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Moved-Zillow-has-incorrect-Highland-Creek-Schools-Info/186758/ This discussion has been moved to the following location: http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Discussions/Schools/NC-Charlotte-Highland-Creek/42641_tid,1,2,0/Zillow-has-incorrect-Highland-Creek-Schools-Info/

0 replies Fri, 09 Jan 2009 20:26:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Moved-Zillow-has-incorrect-Highland-Creek-Schools-Info/186758/ 2009-01-09T20:26:00Z Olde Providence? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Olde-Providence/21121/
This site is misleading.
