Median price in September was $294,500. This is down 13.4% from $340,000 in September of 2008. Average sale price (most recent 3 months) is $329,706, down moderately from $391,213 in 2008. Inventory
Inventory is 529, down marginally from 544 in 2008. New listings of 121 in September were up substantially from 85 in August and up a bit from 117 in September of 2008. Market Time
Days on market of 114 in September was up somewhat from 103 in August and up moderately from 98 in September of 2008. Months of supply in September moved up to 17.7 from 17.7 in August.

Can you give market values from recent prior dates?

This is regarding, per local RE tax dates, market value of a property (35 Weed Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902), as of 10/1/07 and 10/1/08? According to the city, the change in assessed value went up by 20% during this period and I do not buy it.

Grocery store please!!

While IGA was no prize, it was a reliable, cheap and convenient place for staples ... We need to get a grocery store back to Springdale!! ... With the demogrpahic and all thenew condos, why are we not seeing interest from the chains, grocers, independents in locating a store in the Springdale Mall? ... How many CVS'es do we need?!

What do you think places like Trump Parc, RBS, The Ritz, and the new Highgrove Condos at the intersection of Forest and Grove will do to the pricing of other homes and condos in the immediate downtown area?
