How do I search for 1 level or ranch style homes?

I have helped a lot of people buy condos along the orange line in Arlington and I must say that I have a new favorite. Wooster is only 4-stories of residences with a unique loft feel. Some of why I like it so much:
* Solid construction -- cement and steel on a building this size is rare and not cost effective enough for most builders. I would go so far as to say it may be the last of its type.
* Environmentally conscience -- from what I have been told it meets the tough requirements of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Eco-friendly construction is not just for tree-huggers anymore. Some of us would rather use our money in other ways then supporting energy companies.
* Top notch interior design -- beautiful cheery hardwood floors throughout, Wolf stove, Viking fridge, high-end stone, even columns wrapped in brick that they brought from the old Children's museum. You feel bad not buying one of these places.
* Natural light -- many of the homes are literally wrapped in windows, some that are as much as 20 feet high.
* Unique -- there is nothing even close to this in Northern Virginia. What's more, you won't have the same place as your neighbors. Each home is different from the next and if you have the money, you can customize it even further (if you hurry).
* What else -- location, amenities, sound insulation, HVAC rooms built outside each of the homes, large terraces, storage rooms you could park a boat in...

You hear so much negativity out there, I thought I would write a rare rant. If you have any questions about the property, I am an a Realtor that can provide you with my non-biased opinions.

Young professionals moving to your area. Please help!

Hi, I know this is a selling site, but I am interested in renting. We are moving to the area late June/early July to begin jobs at Georgetown University Hospital (all the way from South Carolina). We are two very respectful, responsible, and tidy females looking for a 2br/2ba. We need to be in or around the Rosslyn/Clarendon/Ballston area. Any type of home is fine, but we need to be under $2200/month. We would like to be in a relatively new home with updated finishes and appliances (Okay, you can stop laughing).
