Inaccurate zillow estimate

I dont understand why my house is appraised at 450K while the house right accross mine is only 315K. Both houses are of the same size (home size and lot size) The county sent me an appraisal at 350K. It just not make any sense at all. Zillow estimate is by far the most inaccurate estimate out there. any opinions are welcome!!!!!!!!

You have the incorrect schools listed. Since our schools are very highly rated this could impact us. How do I get this changed?

News articles are quoting number like the price of housing in the downtown San Jose area has gone down by as much as 29%.These statistics seem to be accross all types of property in the San Jose downtown area. I'm trying to find where I can get the statistics on the trend for the cost of Condos (specifically) in the downtown San Jose area over the past 12 months. Even more specifically, I'd like to see what the trend has been since June 2008 to present for Condos. I know it's been down, but I just need to know by how much and get a definitive source for this statistic.

All homes in neighborhd shown on Zillow, except 1 - the one owned by a RE broker. How did they hide?

It must be possible to hide your home from appearing on Zillow. A real estate broker in my neighborhood was able to hide his house - it's the only one in our entire neighborhood with no information listed. How did they hide their house?

Hi,

I live just a few blocks away from the new contruction of the old IBM/Hitachi construction. Just wondering what my fellow Santa Teresa neighbors think about the new shops and stores coming in?

I recently purchased a home in Santa Teresa (was renting in Almaden) and it was a plus to my husband and I when considering the purchase. We are SJ natives BTW. Having a Lowe's and (fingers crossed) Grocery or Trader Joe's closer by would be wonderful. While I am looking forward to the revitalization of the area, but am concerned about the additional traffic and noise.

What are your thoughts?
