There is no place called Greenmount East, it's Greenmount West. Please correct.

Baltimore City has over 225 neighborhoods. Each with it's won distinct charm, style and personality. For years people were making a mad exit from Baltimore City to move to "the burbs" and other places unknown. The population declined, the neighborhoods became crime ridden and blighted. It was dismal and it seemed nobody cared. Suddenly........ something started to happen in Baltimore. People started moving back to Baltimore. There is this renewed interest, a buzz even. Today Baltimore is on the rebound. Blighted neighborhoods are being revitalized. SOMETHING IS GOING ON IN BALTIMORE!!!!!!!!There is hope and optimism, and even enthusiasm. There is an influx of new residents. Young professionals and even baby boomer (like myself) are moving into the hip revitalized areas. I have lived in Baltimore City my entire life. I never gave up on Baltimore. I LOVE CITY LIFE!! to much. My favorite neighborhood this week LOL is Downtown. There is housing in Downtown Baltimore for everybody, whatever your salary,taste, or interests. In Downtown Baltimore you can even live in a luxury condo like The Ritz Carlton, or an apartment on the inner harbor. If that's not your taste there IS something for everone Downtown. I love the excitement going on in Baltimore. As they say "BALTIMORE-GET IN ON IT!

Better Neighborhood

How can we as residents better help the Charles Village transformation? Any ideas? I live just over the train tracks/bridge and would love to aid in helping to make a better neighborhood for myself but also for the kids in the neighborhood since I also teach here (new teacher home buyer program got me in but not in the "nicer" areas). Any ideas? Any Charles Village folks out there?

Homes for sale

Lately I've been seeing alot of homes on the market for quite some before they're sold. I've lived in Dundalk my whole life and love the quaintness of it. It's one of those communities that welcomes you with an warm embrace. I love how they're trying to rejuvenate the neighborhood into the classic way of home livin' that it used to be. If any of you know anyone who'd like to refinance their home or buy one of the many properties that that are for sale, please feel free to contact me.
