PLEASE advice on how to select Property Management Company? Property located in Houston, TX (North - North/East). I'm out of state investor who is looking for your HELP!!!

Where to buy in Houston, affordable and close to med center.

My wife-to-be and I are looking seriously into buying at the end of the the year (2009), she works in the Medical Center area and as of now I'm running my own business from home.

We don't want a commute (for her) that will kill our time together as she works long days.

Also we don't want to live in a bad part of town.

As you can see we're just starting out with a budget under 150k.

Any suggestions?

safety of neighborhood

Is this neighborhood safe for walking in the evenings and at night. Is it well illuminated and are there enough number of people on the streets and nearby shops and restaurants etc to make it possible to not use transportation in the evenings and return from the nearby restaurants on foot?

Looking for company in Houston (Harris County) who help with eviction

I'm remote investor from CA who has local PM Company in Houston helping with tenants. Right now I have to evict one of my tenant and pay additional fee to PM for process ($3500. I think it's too much. I heard that there are local companies who specialising on evictions ONLY and they charge something around $150. How to find them? Any advice?

Shepherd Forest 3

I have been looking at homes in Shepherd Park Plaza and Candlelight Estates, but recently I ran across a few nice looking homes in Shepherd Forest 3 that show very nice but are priced much lower than comparables in the area. Does anyone have any comments on this area and why it might be priced lower? It's just south of 34th and west of TC Jester. Thanks.

Can't get the comparagles, which I select to affect the Zestimate Price. Know my Zestimate is way too low. How do I select Comps.?
