Does Hawthorne have a thriving enviornment for business right now?

Was possibly looking to invest in Hawthorne, N.J. by openning up a business that had to do with food but everywhere I look I see For Rent signs and lots of empty businesses. I have read that unemployment is also high in Hawthorne N.J. and I'm not sure if this is the right time to invest. What do you think the future looks like for Hawthornes business climate. Some outlook as to what you think the next 5 yrs might look like in Hawthorne N.J.. Thank You!

If you are going to sterotype the people in the area, then you need to know that your information isn't true.

There are a lot of college graduates with degrees in the Sicklerville area. And the average age various from 30+ up to senior citizens.

Washington Township is a small town yet the taxes are through the roof. They re-evaluate home to values that well exceed what home would really sell for in this market. With hundreds of appeals they decide to blow more $ on a study to revalue the revaluation.Like everywhere in NJ we are being taxed out of our homes many to foreclosure.
