we are from Michigan and live in Troy which is very competitive and has the best public school district in the state. Attending the public schools in Troy are top notch, like paying for private education. It is very important to me to know that lay out for the Raleigh/ Charlotte/ Winston Salem areas. Thank you

Zillow doesn't know the location of my house. How can it be fixed?

My street is relatively new (2.5 years) and at first the mapping sites did not have my street on them, but they mostly do now. However, Zillow still puts the location of my house at the geographical center of my ZIP code, and thus significantly overestimates my home's value. They do have sales data for homes in my neighborhood, but it doesn't consider those comps. How can I get Zillow to update their map?

Zillow value vs. Tax Value

I recently challenged the unrealistically high Wake county property tax value of my home, providing documented comparative sales, etc. I am in the mortgage business. Wake county came back with a reduction of $3000 in the value! What an insult! Now, Zillow has DROPPED their value on my house by $34,000, a total of $17,000 below the Wake county tax value! WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? DO ANY OF THESE ENTITIES KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING? As always, the final answer is, IT'S WORTH WHAT YOU CAN SELL IT FOR!
