Now that summer is approaching I want to have it fixed and I contacted a contractor who is willing to do it for $300 for parts and labor both. I contacted the neighbor about it and they said that the fence wasn't there when they moved in and when my development was being built, they builder erected the fence. I do not want to pay for the fence myself since I see that we both use it, I also did not bring up the fact that their grill which was near the fence flew onto the fence and caused it to break. I live in middlesex county in New Jersey, they said they are willing to go through the township to handle the matter instead of handling it between us, but they have no intention of paying for the fence. How do I go about this?

9 replies Sun, 05 May 2013 16:36:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Part-of-fence-is-broken-and-I-want-to-replace-it-but-neighbor-is-not-willing-to-pay-half-the-cost/490906/ 2013-05-05T16:36:00Z any leads for highly rated cost effective heating fuel supply company?? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/any-leads-for-highly-rated-cost-effective-heating-fuel-supply-company/462209/ 0 replies Mon, 01 Oct 2012 21:45:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/any-leads-for-highly-rated-cost-effective-heating-fuel-supply-company/462209/ 2012-10-01T21:45:00Z How is Genesse lane area? That is something an inspector will check for, but do you really know much about it and how to make sure you or your family is never exposed?

Carbon monoxide is labeled the invisible killer because it is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, toxic gas. It is a gas produced when fuel is partially burned. The immediate symptoms of CO poisoning include headache, nausea, dizziness, fatigue and shortness of breath. Unfortunately, these are similar to flu symptoms and can therefore be misdiagnosed by doctors. In such cases, victims may return home to further CO exposure. The Centers for Disease Control report that about 15,000 people per year are treated for carbon monoxide poisoning in the U.S., and approximately 500 of these poisonings result in death.

Carbon monoxide exposure can occur from a faulty furnise or broken gas-burning appliances. The chance for exposure can be almost comletely eliminated just by installing CO detectors. They are just like smoke detectors and just as simple to install. It sounds easy enough so why do so many people ignore installing them? Because there are no requirements in buildings codes to have CO detectors.

Most hardware stores sell an assortment of CO detectors. In fact, the two major brands of smoke alarms produce fixtures that detect both smoke and carbon monoxide. These can be placed in the same locations as regular smoke alarms -- near bedrooms, in bedrooms, on high ceilings and in basements.

0 replies Wed, 06 Jan 2010 17:32:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Protect-your-Home-from-Carbon-Monoxide/312233/ 2010-01-06T17:32:00Z Anyone provide property management and handle the rentals of my single famile house in Monroe ? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Anyone-provide-property-management-and-handle-the-rentals-of-my-single-famile-house-in-Monroe/281626/ I am moving out of state. And I am looking for some professionals who can help me to find a tenant, maintain the property and collect rent on my behalf? It's a single family house in Monroe.

0 replies Wed, 23 Sep 2009 19:20:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/Anyone-provide-property-management-and-handle-the-rentals-of-my-single-famile-house-in-Monroe/281626/ 2009-09-23T19:20:00Z How can I delete photos of the home I claimed? http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/How-can-I-delete-photos-of-the-home-I-claimed/273457/ I recently bought a home.
