My family and I are possibly relocating to Brusly for the school system. In the past we have not wanted to live in a subdivision, but it looks like no land available in Brusly. We have a gorgeous home in Port Allen, near Erwinville so we're torn. What has been your experience in this subdivision and Brusly in general. Wanna house swap...haha!!

We are from Biloxi, MS and my husband maybe accepting a job for a company there in the Bunkie area. We lost our home in Katrina and have to say we are older couple and I am concerned about safety. We have alot of problems in our area and my husband will be on the road alot. The last time we purchased a home was in 2004 (April). We have major medical costs since then due to my health issues. We would need the $8k credit or the 100% financing for Rural. Would the people consider lease purchase until we are on our feet again. We are 50 & 60ish.
