In June 1997 the property sold for $345,000. Eight years later, in July 2005, the property was purchased for $1,050,000 (over 300% above the prior sale) and placed on the market less than two years later at $1,399,000 (over 400% above the prior sale). Read that paragraph again.

This is a clear example of the madness brought on by the housing bubble: $345,000 sale in 1997, $1,050,000 sale in 2005, foreclosure in 2009.

Asking price looks like an amatuer came in and picked a number out of a hat...

What comp could agent possibly be using based upon recent sales?

Agent now has 3 listings in Short Hills dieing due to overpricing...2 on LUpine and one on Hobart...

when you overprice a home, you hurt your Sellers...as house becomes stale...sorry..you're at least $200k too high on this one..if not more...

$500 per sq foot?...surely you must be joking...

This listing price only implies that the Listing Agent is an amateur...

Sller should be prepared to wait a long time to sell this one...needs to be priced in the $800k-$900k range...
