I'm not sure how this happened. I claimed my home over a year ago, after I purchased it back in August 2012 and have been receiving email updates on the property. I clicked on a recent email update on my home and it was the address of my home, but it did not have the photos I uploaded, the zillow estimate was significantly different, and it had a more recent sale history of my home. I've waited a long time for my sale history to update and still the transaction is missing, but whatever, how I have two completely different Zillow estimates for the same property. I understand Zillow is just an estimate, but I have always recommended the site to friends and colleagues and this puts issues has been questioning the vitality of your company's estimates now. Please sort this issue out and do so without loosing the photos I uploaded. Listing #1: http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1432-2nd-St-Brookings-SD-57006/114538738_zpid/ Listing #2: http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1432-2nd-St-Brookings-SD-57006/2119261743_zpid/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=email&utm_content=hdp&utm_campaign=emo-homereport

5 replies Mon, 10 Mar 2014 13:36:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/My-house-is-listed-twice-with-different-estimates/531671/ 2014-03-10T13:36:00Z 920 Curry Street, Scotland SD http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/920-Curry-Street-Scotland-SD/478192/ Listing for my property is very misleading. Is there any way to eliminate the history that isn't applicable?
1) There are a lot of photos on the zillow site that are not applicable because the house has been completely renovated. These currently appear if one scrolls way back on the photos..

2) Ownership has changed. I became the new owner on August 12, 2012.

3) House was off the market during renovations from Nov 1, 2011 to Oct 1, 2012. However, the listing on Owners.com and ForSaleByOwner.com was not cancelled because I didn't want to start over creating a new listing.

It seems that the easiest way to update this is for Zillow to create a new listing from existing data with new ownership.

Would appreciate any help you can provide. I get any lot of questions from confused home buyers who then think Zillow is "screwed up" when Zillow is in fact a great site that I really appreciate. Give me a call if you want.

Delmar (Del) Gran
920 Curry Street
Scotland, SD
770-883-3621 (Cell)
delgran@advsyseng.com

0 replies Mon, 11 Feb 2013 18:26:00 GMT http://www.zillow.com/advice-thread/920-Curry-Street-Scotland-SD/478192/ 2013-02-11T18:26:00Z I need to change my open house dates.
