I've had my 117 Harbor Town Blvd., Memphis, TN, 38103 house rented for $2,700/month for 1yr, 8 months. I just rented it again for $2,850/month. My 5112 Dorchester Circle, Brentwood, TN, 37027 house rental value appears to be around $2,900/month based on com parables in the immediate area found from realtor.com and zillow.

I rented a house that had an above ground pool and a month or two after I moved in they tore it down. They said it was rusted but when we were looking at it to rent nothing was wrong with it. Now that there is no pool I'm wondering if the rent should be lowered?

Judging by the email I recd about a rental property and after doing some research it finds this fictitious person has many "units" available across the country. Do yourself a favor and if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Security Deposit

I have a property manager who failed to collect the full amount of the security deposit from a tenant without my knowledge. Tenant apparently made an agreement with PM to pay a portion of deposit and the rest two weeks later. Tenant never paid the rest. The tenant was subsequently evicted a several months later for failing to pay the rent. She also had a 400 credit score. Anyhow there was damage done to the property which would have been covered by the security deposit. Now the PM doesn't respond to phone calls or email. Is the PM responsible for cost of repairs?

I am in the middle of an ugly divorce, have three children (no pets), and am in need of a rental home in Williamson county (prefer Franklin Special School District). My husband, will be ex-husband, was evicted from the apartment rented in my name, and is behind on his car payment; the car is financed in my name. My credit is shot and I cannot get any of these issues off my credit report until the divorce is final, which won't be for months. How can I find a home to rent based on my income and references? My children and I have been staying with a friend for several months now and desperately need our own home. Any help or advice is appreciated.

I contacted the property manager through your site and filled out a rental application. After being approved I again went to look at the property and it would appear there is a family still living there. The property manager Mark R. Kropzynski says the property is vacant and ready to move into. Among other things he says his family and himself are in London,UK and that I can western union deposit and rent to him and then he will fed-ex/dhl deliver the signed lease agreement and keys to me.I'm not sure what is going on and was wondering what you may know of the listing. Thank you.
