Hi,

I'm 25 years old my husband is 27 years older than I am. We'd like to buy a Multi unit to create cash flow and provide our family with housing. We plan to be live in land lords. This will be our first home, and first time as real estate small business owners.

Our target area is Portland Ore. I can use any advice you have.

Where to find the best loans, How to apply for business grants, what to look for in the property and what to avoid...ect. I'm willing to pick up books or takes classes if the meet our bottom line.

What happened to the radial dial that lets you move the map north/south/east/west?

There used to be a round dial that let you move the little map in the various directions so you could center the map on the area you want. What happened to it? It was very useful.

I would like to prepare for buying my first home. What steps should I take to make sure my credit score is in order. And if there are debts that need to be paid off which should I start with. Credits cards, loans, medical bills, or errors????

I found a place on the Oregon coast for $100K. An owner of another unit said that I can expect to make between 7-8K per for the 1st year in rental income. It sounds like a no brainer as the rental income should about cover the monthly mortgage payment. Am I missing anything?

I live in Oregon. I had a home together with my partner, which was an FHA loan, in which I am now no longer obligated to pay on as of a couple months ago. I also own a home in Texas that I pay for which is an FHA loan. I want to buy a condo in which I will have as my primary residence. Can I qualify for another FHA loan?

Are you supposed to include unfinished basement in the sq ft of living space?

House at 2906 N. Farragut, Portland, OR 97217 is listed as having 2335 sq ft, but the basement, which is at least 800 sq ft, is unfinished. Zillow's Zestimate was apparently placed in reliance of this 2335 sq ft being living space (I would think...). Right?

Why does the house that's already sold, showing as "For Sale" in Zillow ? How long does it take for zillow to take it off of "For Sale" list ? Is the broker responsible to remove it ?
