multi family currently residing in a foreclosered property, bank has taken over, and either have asked us to rent by October or vacate the premisses. "How would we find a loan, our income types varrie from two with Social Security, and another whom gets Child Support. Seriously need some answers, We need to be directed in the right direction. Can we get a loan, I've seen some houses that would be Ideal for us, again, we are a multi extended family, consist of five minors and five adults, with Two Dogs. we don't want to be out in the streets with nowhere to go in October.

The house was forclosed on in 2002. Question the selling price. Son did not receive an accounting (of REO) sale, his second was never wiped off...this was used to pay the Mortgage Broker...and we're still paying on the second. (My son used his (employment) settlement to pay the second off, but he got another loan.)

which is the lowest fico i need and how much down? By far, the most common question I get these days has to do with buying a bank-owned property - or a foreclosure. Another term used to refer to bank-owned homes is REO, or Real Estate Owned. Although these REO's have driven down the prices in many markets, most are not sitting around. In Modesto, there is stiff competition for just about any home in any area, as long as the price is right! This is frustrating to many buyers who may submit more than a few offers before they finally are sucessful with a winning bid. The reason for this is important to understand, because if you are in the market for a good deal on a home right now, time is of the essence and there is no time to spare when it comes to these deals. But even more importantly, you need a Real Estate Professional who knows the real value of the properties on your list. Many agents and banks list the property at a low price; this generates alot of interest, multiple offers, and in many cases, the home sells for more than the asking price! This is unbelievable to many buyers whose perception is that with so many properties on the market, they will be able to submit "low-ball" offers and get some sort of result! I am not saying you never will be successful in that, but I am saying that you need a professional who knows the difference who gets results! Call me.

the bank accepted my offer but the house appraised at 17,000 less what happens now

I resubmitted the appraised amount and it has now been 2 weeks and they have not said wether if they are going to accept the new amount, can they deline the new amout and my loan is FHA and its suppose to close in 2 weeks, whats the next step
